| The Salt Company of Swakopmund in Namibia was established
in 1936 and operates its salt pans 10 Km north of the town on the unpolluted
Benguella current of the Atlantic Ocean. Apart from producing sea salt, this wholly Namibian-owned company operates its own refinery and is marketing its various products as far as Nigeria on the West African coast. |
